How do I pick up?
Designated Pick up Times:
Thursdays 10am – 1pm
Please remain in your car and a staff member will bring the items to you.
How do I return materials?
Staff will NOT be collecting returning materials during pick up hours. Please place all returns in the Book Drop.
I don’t have a library card.
If you need a library card, please call the library at 860-848-9943 and leave a message with your name, address, phone number, and email address. A temporary library card will be provided for you.
The library building is closed to the public. Please do not use curbside pickup if you or anyone in your vehicle is feeling ill.
We are celebrating with a special author visit from Donna Marie Merritt. She will be at the library on Saturday, February 15th from 11:00am – 12:30pm, and will be reading from her book “Teensy Meensy Mice.”
Attendees will also be able to make some crafts. Refreshments will be available.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at Raymond Library on Saturday, December 14th for our annual carol sing and storytime.
Carol sing begins at 10:30am, to follow by Santa’s arrival and stories.
All ages are welcome and registration is not required.
Milk, cookies, and cocoa will be provided.
Program ends at 12:00pm.
Come to Raymond Library on Wednesday, December 11th and meet the Grinch between 5:00pm & 7:00pm.
Bring one of the following items to donate to the Montville Animal Shelter and #growyourheart to receive a special Grinch button: Pet food, cat litter, towels/blankets, or pet toys.
Trivia Nights will be held every Third Thursday of the month at 5:30 pm.
Bring your own 3-8 person team OR be ready to join a team on arrival.
Participants must be at least 12 years old to join a team.
September is Library Card Sign-up Month and we are celebrating with a special kick-off event!
Saturday, September 7th ~ 10:00am – 12:00pm
Elephant and Piggie, Mo Willem’s dynamic duo, will be visiting Raymond Library for photo ops from 10:30am to 11:00am and again from 11:30am to 12:00pm.
There will be crafts, stories, and a scavenger hunt.
Registration is not required.

Crafts Missions this summer. All materials will be provided. Suggested age is 3-19, but all ages are welcome.

Solar System Ambassador, Chris Thompson will be visiting Raymond Library and talking about the planet Mars and the NASA missions to Mars on Wednesday, June 26th from 5:30pm – 6:30pm.
This FREE program will be geared toward kids; however, all ages are welcome to come and learn about the Red Planet.
About Chris Thompson:
Chris is President of the Meteorite Association of Georgia and a member of the International Meteorite Collectors Association. He is an active collector, and enjoys sharing his material through hands-on activities with students of all ages. His work experience includes time at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. His interest in the space program began as a child watching the earliest US manned flights and has continued to grow through opportunities to experience space program launches from Florida and attend lectures by astronauts and space program participants at public venues including NASA Centers.
Becoming a Solar System Ambassador allows Chris to share his love of space with more people through the activities with partner institutions in the Atlanta area.
Join Raymond Library on Saturday, March 2nd as we welcome the author of the Pinkalicious books: Victoria Kann.
Ms. Kann will be here from 10am-12pm to read from one of her books and show how she creates her amazing and pinktastic books.
Crafts, games, and refreshments will be available in celebration of this event and Dr. Seuss’s Birthday!

We will be joined by author, Jenna Grodzicki as she reads from her book (Finn Finds a Friend) and shares a “shark-tastic” craft.
Every child who attends will be able to choose a FREE book graciously donated by the Friends of the Raymond Library.
