Academic Search Premier A multi-disciplinary database of more than 4,600 magazines and

journals, including full text for nearly 3,900 peer-reviewed titles. In addition to the full-text, this

database offers indexing and abstracts for 8,470 journals.

Biography Reference Bank This biographical database offers in-depth profiles from Current

Biography and World Authors, the periodical coverage of Biography Index and specialist content

of Junior Authors & Illustrators. It provides full-text articles, images and abstracts from today’s

leading magazines and journals.

Biography Reference Center Biography Reference Center provides thousands of unique and reliable

full-text biographies, including the complete full text of Biography and Biography Today. In addition

to keyword search, users can locate biographies by subject occupation, activity, nationality, gender,

birthplace and more.

ERIC ERIC (Education Resources Information Center) is an authoritative database of indexed and

full-text education literature and resources. Sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences of the

U.S. Department of Education, it is an essential tool for education researchers of all kinds. 

Health Source Consumer Edition This rich collection of consumer health information provides

access to full-text consumer health magazines. It also includes searchable full text for current

health pamphlets. 

History Reference Center Covering topics in U.S. and world history from the earliest civilizations

through the 21st century, History Reference Center is a research database containing full-text

journals, magazines, reference books and thousands of primary source documents.

GreenFILE GreenFILE is a free research database covering all aspects of human impact to the

environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on

global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and

more. 

Legal Information Reference Center Legal Information Source is a database designed to assist the

public in understanding the complex world of law and legal matters of all kinds. It includes

exclusive full text for many top consumer legal reference books, as well as thousands of legal

forms.

MagillOnLiterature Plus MagillOnLiterature Plus is the definitive source for editorially reviewed

critical analyses, character studies, author biographies and plot summaries of the most studied

literary works.

MainFile MainFile is a general interest database for public libraries. It includes full-text magazines,

newspapers, reference books and encyclopedias.

MAS Ultra Designed for high school libraries, MAS Ultra – School Edition is a full-text reference

database of popular magazines and e-books covering many subjects, including history, science and

health. It also includes thousands of full-text primary source documents and videos from the

Associated Press.

MasterFile Designed specifically for public libraries, MasterFILE Premier provides a robust collection

of full-text magazines, e-books and primary source documents. It also includes an extensive image

collection.

Middle Search Plus Middle Search Plus is a full-text database providing popular middle school

magazines, reference e-books, and thousands of primary source documents and videos. Subjects

include history, current events, science and sports.

Referencia Latina Referencia Latina is a full-text Spanish-language database covering a broad array

of subjects inside and outside academia. It offers content from a variety of sources,

including reference books, general interest magazines and health reports.

Science Reference Center Science Reference Center provides full text for hundreds of science

magazines, journals, reference books and high-quality videos. The database also contains science

experiments, curriculum-aligned lesson plans, and a vast image collection.

Small Business Reference Center Small Business Source offers exclusive full text for many top

consumer small business reference books, as well as tools to understand and address a wide variety

of small business topics. The database includes business videos, case studies, help and advice, a start-

up kit and tips for writing business plans.

Teacher Reference Center A complimentary research database for teachers, Teacher Reference

Center (TRC) provides indexing and abstracts for more than 230 peer-reviewed journals.

TOPICSearch Teachers, librarians and student researchers can use this database to explore current

events, social, political and economic issues, scientific discoveries and other popular topics frequently

discussed in the classroom.

Connecticut Digital Newspaper Project

Search 100+ years of CT newspapers. the Connecticut Digital Newspaper Project (CDNP), run out of the Connecticut State Library, is a newspaper digitization project that works as part of the larger Library of Congress National Digital Newspaper Program to digitize historical newspapers for preservation and research use. Since 2013, the CDNP has digitized almost 500,000 pages of historic Connecticut newspapers, all of which are freely available for use through Chronicling America.
